The 25th China Shanghai International Arts Festival runs from 17 October to 15 November 2026. The Shanghai government counts nearly 400 programmes and almost 1,100 performances, exhibitions and other activities.
The Shanghai Grand Opera House hosts the opening concert on 17 October and the closing production, American Ballet Theatre's Swan Lake. More than 80 performances are planned in public spaces such as parks and waterfronts, and more than 180 at branch venues in Jiangsu, Anhui and elsewhere.
